Until December 29th, Arturia has a special gift for us. Their brand new Chorus JUN-6 effect plugin has been carefully wrapped in the spirit of Christmas, and is waiting for you to grab it from under the Arturia tree.
Modeled after the iconic “Juno” series from Roland, a series of analog poly-synthesizers from the 1980s, “Chorus JUN-6” emulates a rich Chorus effect, and is known for its unique Bucket Brigade imperfection and rich sound. With only a few controls, one might think less of this little gem, but a true gem it is, offering a stereo-spread as thick as cream, a BBD coloration warmer than hot cocoa, and ease of use of the highest shelf. In the realm of music production, simplicity equals efficiency, which just happens to be what this plugin excels in.
The straight-forwards button-controls are reproduced with the greatest care to emulate the “3-mode” design of the original device (I, II and I+II), with additional manual settings for a flexible range of rate, depth and stereo-spread. An LFO phase knob for width control, sync to host, Mono/Stereo and Dry/Wet controls are also included.
This device is available in 64-bit VST, VST3, AAX and AU formats. It is supported in MacOS 10.13 or higher, and in Windows 8.1 or higher. Although not supported, this plugin also still works in Windows 7. You will need to install the Arturia Software Center application to install this plugin. Instructions are included in the link.
Now, make this free gift yours and uplift your projects into vibes never heard before!
