In this announcement we have some truly mixed feelings to share… We do not know whether to be joyful for the free plugins gifted to us, or sad because a progressive plugin company lays down the digital soldering tool by which they fabricated their software. We speak of Ocean Swift Synthesis, who through circumstances could not continue to provide ongoing support for the products they developed, and now offers up its entire catalogue as forever free products, or for as long as they shall last.

Ocean Swift Synthesis has an extended and variably useful inventory of plugins that can be of use to any wildly unique music-producer or -enthusiast. Including synthesizers, utilities, wavetables, soundware and an entire scope of modular instruments and effects built around a modular environment called scope, the list of products consists of no less than some 56 products. The wonderful thing is that it is now all freely downloadable, the sad thing is that it signs the end of Ocean Swift Synthesis and further development of their products.

Additionally, there is a bunch of soundware in the section ‘Soundware’ of their website, filled with presets, wavetables, drum sounds and sample banks. As a final gesture from the developer, all of them are now freely downloadable but without any further support.
