The TX16Wx Software Sampler v3.6.0 includes a wide range of sound shaping options, two resonant multimode filters, an AHDR/AHDSR envelope, and a high-quality playback engine. It also boasts the distinction of being the world’s only sampler with multi-mode polyphonic glide.
This sampler supports a variety of file formats including WAV, AIFF, Ogg, FLAC, Yamaha waves, Sound fonts, SFZ, Akai, and EXS. Users can easily browse sample libraries, preview playback, and load sound elements non-destructively. The sampler also allows for the recording of your own samples, either from DAW input or an internal bus.
The sampler’s complex trigger switching and built-in arpeggiator are other standout features. The innovative sample matrix lets you trigger samples in two dimensions based on any modulator or external source. The arpeggiator comes with multiple switchable patterns and a preset manager, along with MIDI import.
The TX16Wx Software Sampler v3.6.0 also provides unlimited modulation possibilities, with two LFOs, two envelopes, and three step sequencers per voice. The modulation matrix can connect any modulator or MIDI/automation source to any sound element. The mapping editor is powerful and user-friendly, allowing for automatic keyboard layout of samples and unlimited sample groups and regions.
The wave editor and beat slicer offer non-destructive realtime cross fade, loop overlay and automatic detection, built-in DSP and edit operations, and an interactive loop slicer with automatic keyboard layout. The sampler also includes send and insert effects, with automation and modulation of FX parameters.
The TX16Wx Professional, the paid version of the sampler, has also been updated, and the update is free for owners of version 3. If you’re a musician looking for a versatile and innovative sampler, the updated TX16Wx Software Sampler v3.6.0 is worth checking out.
