Decent Samples Releases Free Stella Mandolin and Warps Library

Decent Samples, a renowned company in the music industry, has launched a new free library named Stella Mandolin & Warps for its Decent Sampler. The library features the Stella Bowlback Mandolin, a musical instrument from the early 20th century.

The Stella Bowlback Mandolin was one of the many brands manufactured by the Oscar Schmidt Company, a leading producer of musical instruments during the first half of the 20th century. This new library aims to bring the unique sound of this vintage instrument to modern music production.

The Stella Mandolin & Warps library includes several presets. The Mandolin – Main preset offers traditional mandolin plucks, while the Mandolin – Main (with string muting) preset adds a different tonal option. Additionally, the library includes eight Mandolin – Warps presets, providing cinematic pad sounds. These sounds are produced by processing the mandolin through various effects pedals, including Microcosm, Mood, Habit, and Generation Loss.

The Stella Mandolin & Warps library is compatible with the free Decent Sampler player plugin. Interested users can download the plugin from the Decent Samples website. This free library, combined with the Decent Sampler player, offers musicians and producers a cost-effective way to incorporate the unique sound of the Stella Bowlback Mandolin into their projects.
