The MF-103S 12-Stage Phaser is a modern re-creation of Moog Music’s classic MF-103 analog effects pedal. Introduced in 1999, the MF-103 12-Stage Phaser was a modular tool featuring a 6-stage/12-stage voltage-controlled Phaser and a voltage-controlled wide-range Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO). It was designed by Bob Moog and his engineering team to process and modulate a wide array of audio inputs, including guitar, voice, and synthesizer.

The newly designed MF-103S not only replicates the original’s psychedelic enveloping sound, but also the way its parameters interact to create a musical playing experience. It offers CV interconnectivity, stereo functionality, an extended feature set, the ability to run multiple instances, and presets, making it a suitable tool for the modern digital creator.

The OUTPUT MODE replicates the original MF-103’s MAIN and AUX outputs and allows for routing in STEREO configurations. The LFO TYPE can switch between the MONO LFO of the original or create a second inverted LFO for STEREO modulation. In addition, the MF-103S 12-Stage Phaser provides CV Inputs for LFO Rate, LFO Amount, Resonance, Phaser Sweep, and a second Sweep input to modulate the two sections of six stages independently. It also has the capability to attenuate or soften these modulations.
