JD Factory has announced the release of its new stereo signal control plugin, UltimUtility. The software is available for free and is compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems.

UltimUtility offers users comprehensive control over their stereo signal. The plugin features an input matrix that allows for the soloing of L, R, Mid or Side, as well as the physical (dual mono) left or right of the mid or side signal. This gives users the flexibility to manipulate the stereo field to their liking.
In addition to the input matrix, UltimUtility also includes independent L and R polarity controls and a stereo swap feature. These tools provide users with even more ways to shape their stereo signal.
One notable feature of UltimUtility is the balance panner and true stereo (combined) panner in one knob. This unique feature simplifies the process of panning, making it easier for users to achieve the stereo balance they desire.
Finally, UltimUtility offers a stereo widening function with a ‘mono bass’ feature. This allows users to widen their stereo image while keeping the bass in mono, a technique often used in music production to ensure that the bass frequencies do not become too spread out in the stereo field.
