ProjectSAM, a renowned virtual instrument developer, has announced the launch of The Free Orchestra 2 for Kontakt Player. This new offering will see the release of a different instrument every month, with the Sul Tasto Strings being the first in line.
This initiative by ProjectSAM provides an opportunity for music producers and enthusiasts to access high-quality virtual instruments without any cost. The Free Orchestra 2 is compatible with Kontakt Player, a widely used software sampler that allows users to play virtual instruments.
The first instrument to be released under this initiative is the Sul Tasto Strings. Sul Tasto is a playing technique where the bow is drawn over the fingerboard, producing a soft, ethereal sound. This instrument is expected to add a unique texture to musical compositions.
Users interested in availing of this offer should note that the library can only be installed through Native Access. After logging into their account, users will receive a serial number which can be used to download and install the instrument. This process ensures a secure and straightforward installation.
ProjectSAM has not yet announced the instruments that will follow the Sul Tasto Strings. However, given the company’s reputation for producing high-quality orchestral libraries, users can expect a diverse range of instruments in the coming months.
Those interested in adding new dimensions to their music compositions are encouraged to check out The Free Orchestra 2 by ProjectSAM. Remember to log in to your account each month to access the new instrument.
