Rast Sound, a reputable sound library provider, has launched a new free ambience library called Calm 2. This library is designed specifically for full Kontakt and aims to assist musicians in creating soothing, soul-touching music.
Calm 2 offers a unique collection of sounds, including playable sounds, long ambiences, one shots, and more. The idea behind this library was initially conceived while the team was working on a concept library with a chill twist. However, in light of the ongoing pandemic, the decision was made to further develop the idea and release it as a free library to support the music community.
This library is not just a collection of sounds, but an engine that provides soothing playable sounds, shots, and patterns. These have been designed from Rast Sound’s own recordings, and the result is a product that not only sounds beautiful but also helps musicians create soothing music.
Calm 2 is quite a substantial offering. It comes in at 738 mb unzipped for Kontakt 5.8+ & WAV, and includes 260 samples. The library features playable instruments, patterns, and ambient elements. As a bonus, Rast Sound has also included elements of healing, love, and positivity in the library.
In conclusion, Calm 2 is a valuable resource for musicians looking to add soothing and soulful elements to their music. It’s available for free, making it an accessible tool for all. If you’re a musician who uses full Kontakt, consider adding Calm 2 to your library to enhance your music creation process.
