About Cherry Audio Sines
The Sines Synthesizer by Cherry Audio is a sensational and innovative original polyphonic synthesiser. Using four sine-wave oscillators, Sines applies diverse waveshaping methods to bend these basic waves into infinitely variable and complex shapes. Combined with its extensive modulation capabilities and effects, users can create a wide range of unique timbres from the sublime to the sizzling.
The state-of-the-art Sines interface provides immediate hands-on access to all sound parameters. The primary sound design controls are grouped horizontally in bands emphasizing its “four of everything” nature: four LFOs, four oscillators, and four envelope generators. Sines also features Cherry Audio’s most extensive multimode filter to date, an arpeggio, a selection of Cherry Audio’s finest acclaimed effects, a drift function, and an integrated eight-band graphic EQ.
Sines includes over 500 presets, both practical and cutting-edge, and encourages experimentation and provides a deeper understanding of how the elements interact. Users can design individualised sounds ranging from evolving pads, to bright FM plucks, distinctive leads, crisp percussive tones, and more. Sines lends itself well to three more direct approaches to sound design: standard subtractive synthesis, an additive synthesis approach, and mimicking the classic DX-style FM carrier and modulator architecture.
