Output Thermal

Output Thermal is a highly interactive distortion plugin that makes it easy for sound designers to experiment and dial in new distortion sounds. With a user-friendly experience, THERMAL allows users to control its multi-stage engine in a deeply powerful way.

More than just a multi-band distortion, THERMAL goes above and beyond with its layered engines, each equipped with both analog and digital distortion algorithms, effects, modulation, and imaging. The XY control offers an interactive interface for enhancing harmonics.

THERMAL’s Advanced Page allows users to delve into the details, interacting with distortion on the waveform display, tweaking modulation envelopes, and adding effects. Users can also hone in on specific frequency ranges and adjust volume using a slider, activate crossover filters with band split, and choose from 19 analog and digitally modeled distortion algorithms to add harmonics and grit, shape amplitude, and add frequency modulation.

Notably, THERMAL also offers users the ability to add a final touch to each stage by adding Mid Side and time-based width, then shaping highs and lows using the Tone panel.
