Solid State Logic SSL 4KB

The SSL Solid State Logic 4K B Compressor is a top-rated effects plugin offered by Plugin Boutique. This plugin is an authentic model of the rare SL 4000 B, the SSL desk that introduced the world to the legendary sound of the SSL series. It integrates seamlessly into the 360° Plug-in Mixer ecosystem and is fully controllable from UC1 and UF8 hardware.

Released in 1976 and famously used in the ‘Stone Room’ at London’s Townhouse Studios, the SL 4000 B was responsible for countless iconic records, including Phil Collins’ ‘In the Air Tonight’, The Buggles’ ‘Video Killed the Radio Star’ and Peter Gabriel’s ‘Intruder’. The 4K B plug-in is expertly modelled to replicate this iconic sound, full of tone, punch and rich non-linear analogue character, making it a perfect companion for any music project.
