Synapse Audio DUNE 3

The Synapse Audio DUNE 3 is a top-tier synthesizer that expands upon the award-winning features of the DUNE 2. This latest model includes an array of new patches made by expert sound designers and is fully compatible with DUNE 2 presets, thus doubling the factory library size to over a thousand patches. The scalable user interface of DUNE 3 fully supports Full HD and Retina displays on Mac.

With the new Dual Filter, DUNE 3 allows unlimited creative input with its dual multimode filter and an insert effect. It also includes new filter types and insert effects like the formant/vowel filter or phaser. The powerful Dual Arpeggiator supports both classic Up/Down arps and can play back different sequences or even MIDI files.

At the heart of the DUNE 3 are its powerful oscillator blocks, which support VA, FM and Wavetable synthesis. With a maximum reserve of 8320 oscillators at full polyphony, DUNE 3 is unlikely to ever run out of oscillators. The “Swarm” mode in DUNE 3 is an evolution of the classic Supersaw oscillator, where each oscillator gets its own subtle modulation.

DUNE 3 also offers many new effect algorithms in all categories like Distortion, Chorus, Phaser, EQ, Delay and Reverb. One of the key additions is the new Equalizer, designed for professional mixing and mastering. The new Shimmer Hall effect algorithm is perfect for creating lush ambient sounds, pads, and leads.

The new Wavetable editor in DUNE 3 is one of the most powerful. It makes creating new wavetables easy, and waveforms can be created via free-hand drawing, segments, a dedicated partial editor or by entering formulas.
