Boyss-Sound-e-Scapes Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Free MIDI Song Starters Sound Pack

Boyss-Sound-e-Scapes is marking its 10th anniversary by offering a complimentary MIDI Song Starters sound pack, version 1.2. This release is designed to assist music producers in overcoming creative hurdles and infusing emotion into their compositions. The pack is versatile, catering to a wide range of musical styles, including Cinematic, Downtempo, Ambient, Chill Out, Hip Hop, Dubstep, R&B, and Electronica.
The MIDI Song Starters pack includes over 350 MIDI files organized into 15 construction kits. Each kit is labeled with its BPM and key, providing a structured approach to music creation. The initial version, v1.0, features five MIDI Construction Kits, each comprising six MIDI files. These files include single track MIDIs, such as bass and melody variations, chord arpeggios, and a main chord progression. Additionally, a multitrack MIDI file is provided for compatibility, along with chord progression details.

Version 1.2 introduces ten new MIDI kits, tripling the total number of kits without increasing the price. Each new kit contains an average of 33 MIDI files, bringing the total to 337, compared to the 25 files in the initial version, which remains included.

This pack contains MIDI files only and is not GM compatible. It is intended for use in Digital Audio Workstations such as Ableton, Reaper, and FL Studio. Audio previews may include additional elements like drums and percussion, which are not part of the pack. The demos are raw compositions without effects processing or balancing.

Marcos Srivas Launches Free Desert Resonator Generator Plugin for Mac and Windows

Currently, the plugin is available for download in a 64-bit format. Windows users can access the VST3 version, which is a 25.3MB download. For macOS users, the plugin is available in both VST3 and AU formats, with a file size of 50.2MB. However, it should be noted that the macOS version does not yet support ARM architecture. The download package includes the plugin installer, a user’s manual, a backup of factory presets, and bonus MIDI files used in the demo, composed by Marcos Rivas himself.
The graphical user interface, particularly the design of the knobs, was crafted by Julian Behrens, adding a visual appeal to the plugin’s functionality. As this is the first plugin released by Marcos Rivas, feedback from users is encouraged to help identify and resolve any potential issues. While the plugin has been successfully tested on macOS Catalina, users may encounter compatibility issues with certain digital audio workstations, such as GarageBand.
Future updates are planned to include examples of sound design using the plugin, providing users with additional resources to maximize the tool’s potential. Analog Obsession Launches Attractor Free Dynamic Processor Plugin for Windows and Mac

Analog Obsession has announced the release of its latest software offering, the Attractor dynamic processor plugin, available for both Windows and Mac users.
