Who We Are

PLUGINDEALS.NET is run by Holistic Vision Kft, Hungary. We are responsible for the personal data described here. Contact us about anything in this policy at contact@plugindeals.net.

What We Store

You can use the site without telling us who you are. We only store personal data when you set up price alerts:

• Your email address, and when you confirmed it.
• The plugins you watch and the alert settings you choose (target price, discount, record lows only, stores).
• A record of the alert emails we send you: when, which plugins, and the email service's message reference.
• Whether an address has unsubscribed, bounced or reported an email as spam, so we never email it again.
• Whether you ticked the box to join the PLUGINDEALS.NET mailing list. If you did, we add your email address to our mailing list at Brevo once you confirm your alert.

Like every website, our server also records each page request, including your IP address, in its logs.

Why We Use It

• Price alerts: to send the alerts you asked for, and the occasional email about changes to them. The legal basis is your consent, given when you confirm your email address. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Mailing list: to send the weekly plugin deals digest and special offer notifications, only if you ticked the box or joined on our mailing list page. The legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the links in those emails.
• Server logs: to keep the site secure and working, and to count how often each product page is viewed. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the site. The view counts contain no IP addresses.
• Analytics: only if you accept cookies. See the Cookie Policy.

We never sell your data or share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who Processes It For Us

• Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany: hosts our server and database.
• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), France: sends our emails and tells us about bounces and unsubscribes.
• Google Ireland Limited: Google Analytics, only with your consent.

Each works under a data processing agreement and keeps the data in the EU, or protects it under the EU's approved safeguards.

How Long We Keep It

• Your alerts and email address: until you remove them or unsubscribe.
• After you unsubscribe we keep only your email address and that it unsubscribed, so we never email it again. Ask us and we will delete that too.
• Server logs: 14 days. Database backups: 7 days.

Store Links

Many links to stores are affiliate links: if you buy, the store may pay us a commission, at no cost to you. When you click through, the store and its affiliate network may set their own cookies. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.

Your Rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. To stop alerts, use Manage My Alerts or the unsubscribe link in any alert email. For anything else, email contact@plugindeals.net. We reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Hungarian data protection authority, NAIH, or to the authority where you live.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. If a change affects your alerts, we will tell you by email.
