ANWIDA Soft Offers Free Download of Filter Plugin of the Month
Expiry: June 30th
ANWIDA Soft has announced the availability of its Filter Plugin as a free download for the month. This plugin is part of their Free Plugin of the Month initiative and can also be purchased for $12.
The Filter Plugin is designed as a resonant low/high pass filter. It features a controllable Q factor and resonant frequency, which can be modulated using the internal low-frequency oscillator (LFO).
Technical specifications include 64-bit internal precision and highly optimized digital signal processing (DSP) code. The plugin ensures ultra-clean and noiseless audio processing. Users have access to factory presets, and parameter values can be entered manually for precise control.
The plugin is fully automatable, depending on the host application used. It supports stereo output configurations (stereo to stereo) and offers HiDPI monitor support, again contingent on the host application.
No hardware license dongle or activation process is required for this plugin, simplifying installation and use.
System requirements for Windows users include compatibility with Windows 7 through Windows 11, supporting VST3 in 64-bit format. For macOS users, it supports OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) through macOS 15 (Sequoia), available in VST3 and AU formats as a Universal 2 Binary.
The Filter Plugin can be downloaded directly from ANWIDA Soft’s website during this promotional period.

Expiry: July 4th
IK Multimedia is currently offering its Tape Echo software free of charge, a product that was originally priced at $99.99. This software is a digital recreation of the 1969 Echoplex EP3 tape delay, known for its iconic tape delay tones.
The Tape Echo provides a faithful emulation of the Echoplex EP3, capturing the warmth and saturation characteristic of the original hardware. It models tape hiss, wow and flutter, as well as analog tone. Modern features include BPM synchronization and stereo operation.
This software is available in VST, AU, and AAX formats and is compatible with both macOS and Windows operating systems. Key features include authentic analog emulation with selectable AC line hum and BPM syncable delay times for rhythmic integration.
The Tape Echo also supports stereo operation with two independent delay lines and offers full automation control within digital audio workstations (DAWs). Users can adjust controls for tape hiss, wear, wow, and flutter to achieve desired effects.
Designed for adding slapback to guitars or creating lush echoes on vocals, this software focuses on delivering natural and organic delay trails. The offer to download this product for free is available for a limited time.

Tritik Launches Visu Real Time Spectrogram Plugin
Expiry: None
Tritik has introduced a new real-time spectrogram plugin named Visu, designed for audio analysis and visualization. This tool allows users to observe frequency content changes over time, with amplitude represented by color. It is particularly useful for identifying transients, analyzing pitch and harmonics, detecting unwanted noise, and tracking the evolution of sound.
Visu offers two modes: a classic spectrogram mode and an enhanced mode. The enhanced mode provides greater precision in time and frequency through time-frequency reassignment, resulting in sharper transients and clearer pitches.
The plugin includes several key features such as freeze and PNG export capabilities, HiDPI support, linear and logarithmic frequency scales, adjustable FFT size, scroll or static draw modes, and a frequency readout under the cursor. Users can access a free version that operates in black-and-white without requiring a license. Additionally, there are over 40 color maps available that are color-blind friendly.
Licensing for Visu is flexible; it is fully functional in black-and-white without needing a license. To unlock the color maps feature, users can opt for a pay-what-feels-right licensing model.
Visu is compatible with Windows 10/11 systems that have a VST3 host or Pro Tools installed. It also supports macOS 10.15 or later versions (both Intel and ARM) with an Audio Units host, VST3 host, or Pro Tools.
For those interested in downloading Visu, links are available for both Mac and Windows platforms:
Further documentation on Visu’s features and screenshots can be found on its manual page.
