VST Alarm Offers Free Download of Hot Chords Vol 2 MIDI Pack by Red Sounds

VST Alarm is currently offering a free download of the Hot Chords Vol 2 MIDI Pack by Red Sounds. This offer is available for a limited time.
The MIDI pack includes a total of 1,195 drag-and-drop MIDI chords. These are organized into 40 folders, each containing between 22 to 57 chords. On average, each preset folder contains 29 chords.
The Hot Chords Vol 2 MIDI Pack is designed to be versatile across various music genres. It is suitable for EDM, Future Bass, Future RnB, Hip-Hop, Future Pop, House, and more.
The creation process involved analyzing The Hot 100 Billboard charts to identify fresh chord progressions used by well-known producers. Inspiration was drawn from artists such as Marshmello, Martin Garrix, Kygo, The Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris, Post Malone, Juice WRLD, Khalid, among others.

The XY-FAT plugin provides several features aimed at enhancing audio production. Users can adjust compression intensity and harmonic tone using the ‘Fattness & Colour’ sliders. The ‘Input Gain & Soft Clipping’ feature allows for boosting and saturating signals with added warmth.
To maintain consistent loudness and prevent clipping, the plugin includes an ‘Auto-Gain & Limiter’. A bypass switch is also available for users to easily compare processed and unprocessed signals.
The plugin is designed for various use cases, such as sweetening synths, thickening vocals, and gluing mixes together. However, it is important to note that it may not be compatible with all OSX versions or Logic Pro due to Apple Gatekeeper restrictions.
Ash Taylor Launches Free SFLT SoundFont Player Plugin for Windows

Ash Taylor has introduced a new SoundFont player plugin named SFLT, aimed at videogame musicians and power users. This plugin is designed to offer comprehensive SoundFont 2.01 support and customizable sound output.
SFLT is available as both a VST3/CLAP plugin and a native FL Studio plugin. It is currently in public beta, which means users may encounter bugs, crashes, or synthesis errors. The plugin is free to download, with an option for users to leave a tip to support its development.
The plugin features snappy file and preset browsers with sorting and filtering options. It supports linear resampling for crisp sound output and also offers Nearest resampling. Users will find tight integration with FL Studio, including features like slide notes, per-note panning, and portamento.
For those using compatible VST3/CLAP hosts, SFLT supports Note Expression and MPE. The plugin is designed for high performance with a low memory footprint. Additionally, the source code is available under the GPLv3 license.
There are some known issues with the current version of SFLT. The built-in Reverb/Chorus modules have not been implemented yet; however, it does support sending dry signals to external effects. Linked Modulators are not supported at this time, which affects advanced SF2.01 features but not most SF2s. Certain Generator configurations may also not be handled accurately.
SFLT currently supports only Windows platforms and is not available for macOS users.
The FL Studio version of SFLT acts as a native plugin that provides FL-specific features requiring separate installation from the VST3/CLAP version. This version emulates the velocity curve of FL’s stock SoundFont Player while adhering closely to the official SoundFont specification in other DAWs.
Built against FL Studio 2024, SFLT supports versions from FL 12 onwards and is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Users should refer to the manual for installation instructions as the native FL plugin should not be installed as a VST or CLAP plugin.
FL Studio typically forces .sf2 files to load in its first-party SoundFont Player or DirectWave; however, SFLT includes a built-in file browser that allows direct loading of SoundFonts.
The pronunciation of SFLT is “svelte,” combining elements from SF (SoundFont), FL (FL Studio), and T (Tubular).

Oracle Sound Releases Version 1.1.1 of Free Ritual Amp Loader Plugin for Mac and Win

Oracle Sound has released version 1.1.1 of the Ritual Amp Loader, a free plugin available for both Mac and Windows platforms. This software is designed to provide realistic guitar amp modeling within a digital audio workstation (DAW) using neural network technology.
The Ritual Amp Loader allows users to load .NAM and cab impulse response (IR) files from their own collection or from sources such as Oracle Sound Guitar Tones and Tone3000. The plugin includes nine pedal captures, featuring models like the Merciless Drive by Vic Audio, as well as eleven amp head captures and two bass head captures.
Additionally, it offers fifteen cab impulse responses from Vic Audio. Users can utilize the pedal loader with tone control and wet/dry mix options, along with an amp loader that provides controls for bass, middle, treble, presence, and cut.
The plugin also includes features such as a gate, mono/stereo cab IR loader, tuner, normalization and calibration of profiles, and support for calibrated profiles.
