Focusrite and Novation Users Can Claim Free Klevgrand Degrader Plugin
Expiry: October 10th
Focusrite and Novation users are now eligible to claim a free software plugin from Klevgrand. The plugin, known as Degrader, is available for download at no cost for a limited time.
Degrader is an audio effect plugin designed to emulate the sound of vintage digital gear. It offers users the ability to manipulate audio through bit crushing and sample rate reduction techniques. This allows for the creation of unique sound textures reminiscent of older digital equipment.
The plugin features several adjustable parameters, including bit depth, sample rate, jitter, and saturation. These controls provide users with a range of options to customize their audio output according to their preferences.
To access the free Degrader plugin, Focusrite and Novation users need to log into their accounts on the respective websites. Once logged in, they can navigate to the ‘My Software’ section where they will find instructions on how to download and install the plugin.
Klevgrand has provided documentation for Degrader on their official website. This includes a user manual that details each feature and offers guidance on how to effectively use the plugin within various digital audio workstations (DAWs).
The offer is part of an ongoing initiative by Focusrite and Novation to provide additional value to their user base by partnering with third-party developers like Klevgrand. Users are encouraged to take advantage of this offer while it remains available.
Analog Obsession Launches Free INDEQ EQ Plugin for Windows and Mac
Expiry: None
Analog Obsession has released a new equalizer plugin named INDEQ, available for both Windows and Mac users. The plugin was launched on August 7, 2025, and is currently at version 1.0. It is a pure inductor-based equalizer designed to provide users with a range of audio shaping options.
The INDEQ plugin features several bands for precise audio adjustments. The highpass filter is set at 80Hz. The low band offers adjustments of +/- 15dB at frequencies of 35Hz, 60Hz, 100Hz, and 220Hz, with options for both shelf and peak modes. The mid band allows for similar adjustments at frequencies ranging from 0.2kHz to 6kHz and includes a high Q mode for more focused changes. The high band provides adjustments at frequencies of 8kHz and 16kHz, also with shelf and peak modes available.
In addition to these features, the plugin includes an output control that allows for clean output adjustments of +/- 15dB. A bypass option is also available to compare the processed sound with the original input.
The interface of the INDEQ plugin is resizable from 50% to 200%, allowing users to adjust it according to their preferences or screen size requirements. This can be done using a simple handle located in the bottom right corner of the interface. Users are advised to save their preferred GUI size as a default preset within their digital audio workstation (DAW) to maintain consistency across different instances.
The plugin supports multiple formats depending on the operating system used. For Mac users, it is available in VST3, AU, and AAX Native – Audiosuite formats and requires macOS version 10.11 or higher along with Intel or Apple Silicon processors and a graphics card that supports “Metal.” Windows users can access the VST3 and AAX Native – Audiosuite formats provided they are running Windows versions between Windows 10 and Windows 11 with graphics support for “OpenGL.”
Downloads are readily accessible through Analog Obsession’s website. Mac users can download the installer directly via this link. Windows users have two options: they can download either an installer or a zip file.
The INDEQ plugin does not apply any non-linear processing intentionally, offering unique EQ shapes tailored by Analog Obsession’s design approach. It is available as a free download; however, there is an option for users who wish to support further development through a one-time donation.
