ADSR Sounds offers free AIR Music Tech The Riser with all purchases
Expiry: December 31st
ADSR Sounds is running a storewide promotion that includes AIR Music Tech’s The Riser as a free add‑on with any purchase. The offer is delivered as a digital download at checkout alongside the qualifying order.
The Riser is a transition-design instrument for creating rises, falls, sweeps, swells, and breaks for electronic music and post-production. It generates time-synced transitions that can be aligned to a project’s tempo and length, with controls for shaping pitch, filter, amplitude, and modulation over the duration of the effect. A preset library is included for quick starting points.
The plug-in provides multiple sound generators and modulation sources, with onboard filtering and effects to refine the build or drop. Parameters can be automated in a DAW and are designed to produce predictable, tempo-locked outcomes suitable for arranging transitions between sections.
The Riser is available for macOS and Windows in common 64-bit plug-in formats (VST, AU, AAX), and requires a compatible 64-bit host application. Installation is handled via a downloadable installer, and a user guide is included. Additional documentation and system requirements are listed on the product pages from ADSR Sounds and AIR Music Tech.

The software is available as VST3, LV2, CLAP, and AU plugins, and as a standalone application for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It is built with the JUCE framework and uses the Rubber Band Library for pitch processing. The project is licensed under GPL-3.0 and is available at no cost.
The plugin provides control over both source and target A4 reference, adjustable between 380 Hz and 460 Hz. It also includes level control and a set of factory presets for quick setup.
- Formats: VST3, LV2, CLAP, AU, plus standalone application
- Platforms: Windows, macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon), and Linux
- License: GPL-3.0 (open source)
- Presets: 10 factory presets
- Processing: formant-preserving pitch-shift algorithm
Key controls and ranges:
- A4 reference: 380–460 Hz (source and target)
- Pitch shift: ±3 semitones
- Output level: -60 dB to +12 dB
- Operation: suitable for real-time use
The standalone application supports audio file playback and export, allowing tuning conversion without a DAW. The plugin versions are intended for use in hosts that support the listed formats.
Ocean Swift releases Tyrian Tine as free Kontakt Player instrument
Expiry: None
Ocean Swift Synthesis has released Tyrian Tine, a free NKS instrument for Native Instruments Kontakt Player. Version 1.0 focuses on generating randomized bell and chime tones and is priced at 0.00€. It can be installed via Native Access.
The instrument uses an asymmetric dual-layer engine that combines a wavetable oscillator with a curated sample oscillator. The wavetable side supports instability, morphing, and controlled randomization. The sample side draws from bells, kalimbas, music boxes, and other metallic sources.
Core performance controls include layer mixing, velocity response, and modulation via the mod wheel. A random modulation option provides variation without manual setup. The effects section includes a filter, tremolo, delay, and reverb for basic sound shaping and space.
Tyrian Tine ships with 73 presets, 34 samples, and 11 wavetables. Sounds cover clean to more textured metallic timbres suited to ambient cues, fantasy and sci-fi scoring, game audio, and general sound design tasks.
The instrument is compatible with NKS and NKS2. It integrates with Komplete Kontrol and Maschine for mapped parameters and hardware browsing. On Kontrol Mk3 keyboards, nearly all interface parameters are accessible from the hardware (sample selectors are excluded) for hands-on control.
Tyrian Tine runs in the free Kontakt Player; the full version of Kontakt 8 is not required. Installation and activation are handled through Native Access.

TonalMark launches free Analog Glow one knob warmth plugin for Mac only
Expiry: None
TonalMark has released Analog Glow, a free one‑knob warmth plugin for macOS. The initial release is version 1.0.0 and supports AU and VST3 formats. It is distributed via the TonalMark page on Gumroad as a no‑cost download.
The plugin applies a predefined “analog arc” with a single control, combining low‑mid enhancement, tape‑style high‑frequency softening, added harmonics, dual‑stage saturation, and analog‑style asymmetry and density. Three Drive modes—Lo, Med, and Hi—adjust the intensity from subtle enhancement to heavier saturation.
A Color mode is included for an alternate voicing, introducing a slightly darker top end, additional harmonic content, and increased low‑end weight. High‑quality oversampling is available (4x by default, 8x optional) to reduce aliasing at higher drive levels and frequencies.
Use cases highlighted by the developer include vocals, drums, guitars, bass, keys, lo‑fi textures, and mix bus duties where added warmth, density, or tape‑like rounding is desired. Audio examples for drums, guitar, and 808 are provided on the product page.
Key details:
- Format: AU / VST3 (macOS only)
- Version: 1.0.0
- Price: Free
- Installer: macOS .pkg (signed and notarized), installs both formats
- System requirements: macOS 10.13 or later; Intel or Apple Silicon; 64‑bit DAW that supports AU or VST3
- DAW compatibility: Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Reaper, Bitwig, Studio One, GarageBand
Feature summary:
- One‑knob workflow with a fixed curve blending low‑mid bloom, HF softening, harmonics, dual‑stage saturation, and analog‑style asymmetry
- Three Drive modes: Lo, Med, Hi
- Color mode for darker top, more harmonics, and added weight
- Oversampling: 4x (default) and 8x (optional)
