WorldVerb is a creative convolution reverb that lets you blend and transform up to four of its 173 captured acoustic spaces at once. Almudio releases free 3D Panner spatial audio plugin for Windows and Mac

Almudio has released 3D Panner, a free spatial audio plugin for macOS and Windows. The software runs as VST3 and AU and is currently at version 2.0.0. Headphone playback is recommended to hear the binaural effect.
The plugin provides headphone-ready 3D placement using HRTF processing. Sources can be positioned around a spherical field, including left, right, front, back, above, and below, without requiring a multichannel monitoring setup.
3D Panner also includes a multiband workflow. A signal can be split into up to eight frequency bands, each with an adjustable range. Every band has its own built-in limiter, enabling separate control of lows, mids, and highs within the panning process.
For movement and automation, the plugin offers eight built-in LFO shapes, including random and pendulum options. Users can also draw custom modulation shapes on an XY pad. Modulation depth, rate, and direction are adjustable, allowing position to evolve over time.
Intended uses span music and audio post work where headphone-friendly spatial placement is needed. Examples include:
- Music production and mixing: placing elements in three dimensions and animating motion.
- Sound design and game/film scoring: shaping position by frequency band and generating movement without a multichannel room.

ZAK Sound releases free RocketVerb plugin for Windows Mac and Linux

ZAK Sound has released RocketVerb, an algorithmic reverb plugin for macOS, Windows and Linux. The plugin can be claimed at no charge from July 22 to August 22, 2026; licenses obtained during this period are perpetual. After the launch period, the price is €37.
RocketVerb generates reverb tails in real time and does not replay source recordings or use fixed impulse responses. Its behavior is guided by 38 internal profiles derived from public space audio, planetary recordings and astronomical data sonifications, influencing spectral movement, density, damping and texture.
The core reverb section provides five primary controls:
- Pre: separates the source from the reverb bloom.
- Density: adjusts from sparse reflections to a smooth cloud.
- Length: sets decay from short ambiences to extended tails.
- Size: changes perceived scale and internal spacing.
- Shape: shifts the tail from tight to blooming and suspended.
A two-dimensional Galaxy cursor consolidates several parameters into one gesture, affecting distance, early/tail balance, damping and brightness, scatter, motion and profile-driven character.
Six creative effect blocks extend the reverb for sound design:
- Radiation
- Orbit
- Filter
- Granular Cloud
- Comet Trails
- Dust
Granular Cloud and Comet Trails include 8-step patterns and can process either the direct input or the wet reverb signal. An Infinite Freeze function sustains the atmosphere within the algorithm, with smooth release back into the live tail.

Fracture Sounds releases free Blueprint Textural Sax library for Kontakt Player

Fracture Sounds has released Blueprint: Textural Sax, a free sample library for Kontakt Player. The instrument focuses on solo tenor saxophone textures and runs in Kontakt Player version 8 or later.
The library provides four textural articulations created from recordings made during the Trails II sessions. It includes a blended mix derived from close, room, and resonant contact microphones, plus an Atmosphere Layer. The resonant element was captured by attaching contact microphones to a thunder sheet.
Controls cover lo-fi processing, delay, and reverb, with additional settings and types available within the interface. The download size is 425 MB (NCW compressed from a 1 GB sample pool).
Interface functions are designed for quick access to key sound-shaping parameters:
- Dynamics: Mod wheel/CC1 control of dynamic layers.
- Scatter: Randomizes the pan position of individual samples.
- Lo-Fi: Adjusts the intensity of the lo-fi chain and the level of noise layers.
- Reverb: Sets reverb level with further options accessible via a settings control.
- Atmosphere: Blends the Atmosphere Layer, with a solo option (S).
- Individual articulation settings: Per-articulation volume, pan, attack, and release; Shift + Click to layer multiple articulations.
- Global settings: Tightness and dynamic response adjustments.
Blueprint: Textural Sax is intended to capture evolving tenor sax textures and resonant timbres heard in Trails II. The four articulations are presented in a simplified format while retaining the core sound of the full recordings. One atmospheric sound layer from the main instrument is included to extend tonal range.
The instrument is NKS-compatible, supporting integration with Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol keyboards. Parameters are mapped for hands-on operation via hardware controls and on-device displays.
Activation and installation are handled through Native Access 2. Because it runs in the free Kontakt Player, no additional paid software is required to load the library.
Textural Sax sits within the Blueprint series of textural instruments and was recorded in the same London studio space as other Blueprint titles. It is designed to complement related Blueprint libraries, including Textural Violin, Textural Viola, and Textural Cello.
Wavelet Audio releases Runa Free Edition library for Kontakt Player

Sonuscore releases Elysion Elements free hybrid synth library for Kontakt Player

Sonuscore has released Elysion Elements, a free hybrid synth library for Native Instruments Kontakt Player.
The instrument is built from synthetic sources, including recordings of several vintage synthesizers, sampled across multiple velocity layers. Each layer is shaped to provide a distinct timbre, so playing softly and playing hard produces different colors rather than a single sample played at different volumes.
Elysion Elements includes 30 Themes selected by composer Tilman Sillescu and provides the full performance and sound-shaping engine from the Elysion line. All core modules are open and editable.

Audio Plugin Guy updates free Song Structure Planner web app to version three

Audio Plugin Guy has released Song Structure Planner v3, a redesigned browser-based tool for building, editing, and printing song structures. The update forms part of the broader Audio Plugin Guy apps v3 rollout and introduces interface and workflow changes intended to streamline arrangement planning.
The planner is designed for producers and songwriters to sketch and organise song sections, refine timing decisions, and maintain an overview of the arrangement during writing and production. Version three adopts the Audio Plugin Guy v3 design system, with a cleaner layout, clearer toolbar actions, standardised help and save/load behaviour, light and dark themes, and a mobile-optimised interface.
Users can create editable song blocks, rename sections, define bar counts, and reorganise the structure with drag-and-drop controls. Energy and density ratings can be assigned to individual sections, and notes can be added for reference during writing, recording, or mixing sessions.

The updated interface, streamlined toolbar flow, and mobile-focused layout work introduced in this planner will extend to other tools over time. For Song Structure Planner v3 specifically, the team notes phone-width overflow fixes and further mobile adjustments tailored to loaded arrangements and the horizontal timeline view.
Stu Smith of Audio Plugin Guy said the planner was originally developed to provide a quick way to map out a song and bring a clear arrangement plan into sessions. The v3 update reflects refinements based on extended use, including the option to print a structured plan for note-taking during studio or listening sessions.
Song Structure Planner v3 is available now as part of the current Audio Plugin Guy browser tools lineup. The web apps run in the browser and are free to use.
