ANWIDA Soft Offers Free Stereoid Light Stereo Imager Plugin for Windows and Mac
Expiry: Unknown
ANWIDA Soft has released Stereoid Light, a free stereo upmixer, imager, and enhancer plugin for Windows and macOS. Version 1.0.0 is available at no cost via user accounts.
Stereoid Light converts mono sources to stereo and adjusts the width of existing stereo material. Its processing combines temporal decorrelation, microtonal detuning, and short delays related to the Haas effect to create a wider image while maintaining mono compatibility.
Intended uses include enhancing vocals, lead instruments, and full mixes, as well as mono upmixing and stereo mastering.
- Stereo upmixer, imager, and enhancer
- Mono-to-stereo and stereo-to-stereo processing
- Fully mono-compatible widening algorithm
- Stereo image control via decorrelation, micro shifting, and delay
- Based on psychoacoustic principles
- 64-bit internal processing
- Factory presets included
- Manual entry of parameter values
- Host automation support (depending on host application)
- HiDPI monitor support (depending on host application)
- No hardware license dongle or activation required
The decorrelation stage is designed to preserve the spectral character of the source, which can be useful in stereo mastering. The delay component operates within the temporal fusion window associated with the Haas effect, and the algorithm is engineered to maintain mono compatibility when using delayed replicas.
System requirements:
- Windows: 64-bit VST3; Windows 7 through Windows 11
- macOS: VST3 and AU (Universal 2 Binary); OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) through macOS 26
SoundRave releases ThermVoltGe germanium overdrive plugin for Mac and Windows free download
Expiry: Unknown
SoundRave has released ThermVoltGe, a germanium overdrive plugin for macOS and Windows. The plugin is currently available as a free download.
On May 26, 2026 (JST), download access was restored after free code limits had been reached. Users who obtained ThermVoltGe via Gumroad on or after May 4, 2026 (JST) experienced a license file issue that blocked authentication. The issue has been resolved server-side, and corrected license files were emailed from the soundrave.org domain.
ThermVoltGe models classic germanium overdrive behavior, including diode clipping, battery sag, temperature-dependent drift, and supply voltage variation. The approach aims to reproduce the compressed, harmonically rich responses associated with vintage units.
- Germanium diode clipping (OA91-style)
- Battery sag and supply voltage control
- Temperature control affecting germanium characteristics
- Inst/Line switching; Line mode applies a -20 dB pad for line-level operation
- Boost switch with up to +20 dB gain
- High-pass filter for low-end control
- Tone control for broad tonal shaping
- 2x / 4x oversampling
- Low CPU usage
The plugin is suitable for electric guitar, bass synths, keyboards, and vocals where added saturation or mild compression is desired.
System requirements:
- macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon): AU, VST3
- Windows 10/11: VST3
SoliderSound releases free Go Splitter stem separation app for Windows and Mac
Expiry: None
SoliderSound has released Go-Splitter, a free desktop stem separation app for macOS and Windows. The standalone application runs fully on-device and splits a full mix into four DAW-ready WAV stems: Vocals, Drums, Bass, and Other. Offline workflows are supported after activation.
The app uses an on-device neural network engine with presets that balance speed and quality. Advanced controls are provided for artifact suppression.
Go-Splitter is designed for quick auditioning and export. Users can load a track, audition each stem, and scrub through waveforms to verify results. Only one stem plays at a time during preview.
Key workflow:
- Import: Drag and drop or browse to load audio files. Supported formats include WAV, MP3, FLAC, M4A/AAC, AIFF, and OGG. The app converts inputs to 44.1 kHz stereo WAV internally for processing.
- Separate: Run the neural separation engine on-device. Use quality presets and advanced controls to trade off speed with artifact suppression.
- Export: Save stems as individual WAV files or export all stems as a ZIP bundle. In the trial, ZIP export is disabled.
Additional features include:
- Four-stem output suitable for DAW workflows (Vocals, Drums, Bass, Other)
- On-device processing with no cloud requirement
- No usage limits for processing tracks
- Audition interface with stem soloing and waveform previews
System requirements:
- macOS: 12.3 (Monterey) or later; Apple Silicon only
- Windows: Windows 10 22H2 or Windows 11 (x64)
- Format: Standalone desktop application (not a plugin)
Go-Splitter is available as a free download for macOS and Windows. Processing runs locally, enabling offline sessions after activation.
Accentize releases dxLevel free loudness leveling plugin for Mac and Windows
Expiry: None
Accentize has released dxLevel, a free loudness-leveling plugin for macOS and Windows. The software is available at no cost to users who subscribe to the company’s mailing list.
dxLevel is designed for speech and dialogue workflows in post-production and live settings. It automatically adjusts voice levels to a user-defined LUFS target to maintain consistent perceived loudness across clips, speakers, and recordings. Typical uses include matching levels between takes, balancing multiple speakers recorded on a single microphone, and smoothing level fluctuations caused by movement or varying mic distance.
A Preserve Ambience mode focuses gain adjustments on the dialogue while leaving background ambience or room tone largely unchanged. This is intended to maintain a natural-sounding environment when leveling speech captured in real-world locations.
The plugin offers adjustable lookahead and leveling speed to shape how quickly it responds to incoming speech. These controls allow slower, more transparent changes or faster corrections for dynamic material. Users set a LUFS target to align dialogue with broadcast or platform loudness requirements.
- Automatic LUFS-based voice leveling
- Preserve Ambience mode to avoid raising background noise
- Controls for lookahead and leveling speed
- Suitable for live and post-production use
dxLevel supports mono and stereo processing and operates at standard professional sample rates, including 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, and 192 kHz. Plugin formats include VST3, AU, and AAX.
The developer lists compatibility with the following hosts:
- DAWs: Avid Pro Tools, Steinberg Cubase, Steinberg Nuendo, Reaper, Ableton Live, Logic Pro
- Video software: Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve
A user manual and a walkthrough video are provided. The download requires subscribing to the mailing list.
