Leson Offers DeepStereo Reverb Lite Free for a Limited Time

Leson has released DeepStereo Reverb Lite, a streamlined version of its binaural spatial reverb plugin. It is available at no cost for two weeks, while download codes last; the stated regular price is $19.99.
The plugin creates a reverberant field that can be positioned around the listener. Azimuth, elevation and width controls set its placement, while Sphere II and Sphere III modes offer different spatial behaviours. Decay adjusts the reverb tail, and Volume and Amount control its level in the mix.
DeepStereo Reverb Lite includes a selection of presets and is designed for both standard stereo mixes and binaural headphone productions. It can be used on individual tracks or on an auxiliary bus for music production, sound design and immersive content. The plugin is designed to work with standard stereo headphones.
Compared with the full DeepStereo Reverb, the Lite edition omits controls and modes including Size, Style, Predelay, Modulation, Sphere I and the Contour I–III set.
DeepStereo Reverb Lite is available in VST3, AU and AAX formats for macOS and Windows.
DiscoDSP Releases Free WavePrompt Text to Music App for Windows and Mac

DiscoDSP has released WavePrompt 1.0, a free text-to-music app for macOS and Windows. It generates audio on the user’s computer from written descriptions, lyrics or melodies drawn in its piano roll.
WavePrompt can create loops from one to 16 bars at tempos of 60 to 180 BPM, in major or minor keys and in five time signatures: 4/4, 3/4, 6/8, 5/4 and 7/8. Loop starts can be nudged for sample-accurate alignment with a digital audio workstation’s grid.
The app also generates short sung phrases from user-provided lyrics in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. It offers 11 voice types, including choir and rap, and an option to isolate vocals.
Full-song generation supports tracks from 15 seconds to four minutes, with or without vocals. The app checks lyrics using Whisper and fits the vocal over the backing track. Songs are generated with a planned outro.
In the piano roll, users can draw a melody and select a chord for each bar, or generate chords using options for key, density, register and chord type. Generated loops use the selected melody and chords; songs carry them through their sections, while vocal phrases follow the melody’s pitches.
Each render includes a MIDI file containing score information, with separate tracks for melody, chords, tempo, key and section markers. Users can also export the piano roll as MIDI, or export a render from the library as MIDI or as a folder containing WAV, AAC and MIDI files.
WavePrompt includes 34 genres, 14 moods and 11 instrument sets, along with a style-strength setting. Users can shuffle or reset selections and use fixed seeds to repeat or vary a result. Renders are saved in a library with their settings; seeds and styles can be reused across generation types.
Audio can be exported as 48 kHz, 24-bit WAV or AAC. Tempo matching uses the Rubber Band Library. The app uses the YuE2 music model, running on Apple Silicon through Metal on Mac, or on NVIDIA CUDA or Intel Arc GPUs on Windows. Once the model has been downloaded, the app can work offline; prompts, lyrics and audio are processed locally.
On Mac, WavePrompt requires an Apple Silicon computer with at least 16 GB of unified memory and macOS 26 Tahoe or later. DiscoDSP recommends 32 GB for generating full songs. Intel Macs are not supported.
On Windows, the app requires 64-bit Windows 10 version 2004 or Windows 11 and at least 16 GB of RAM. Supported graphics hardware includes an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series or newer GPU with 12 GB of video memory, or an Intel Arc GPU, including Core Ultra integrated graphics. Without supported graphics hardware, generation runs on the CPU and is slower. DiscoDSP recommends 32 GB of RAM for full songs.
The software and models require about 10 GB of free disk space, with an additional 1.5 to 3 GB for the Windows GPU runtime. An internet connection is needed to download the model; Windows setup also requires a connection.
WavePrompt uses YuE2 from Multimodal Art Projection. The model weights are licensed under CC BY-NC 4.0 with individual creator permission; DiscoDSP says generated audio may be used under that permission. The app also uses Demucs, Whisper and the Rubber Band Library.
DiscoDSP Releases Free Roboto Singing Synth for Mac Windows Linux and iOS

DiscoDSP has released version 1.1 of Roboto, a free singing voice synthesizer for macOS, Windows, Linux, iPhone and iPad. It runs as a standalone application or as a plugin, depending on the platform.
Users create a song in a piano-roll editor by assigning words to notes. A separate text editor accepts songs in a word, note and beat format, with commands for settings such as tempo, transpose, language, voice and effects. Roboto also includes automation curves for volume, pitch bend, vibrato, breath, formant shift and chorus.
The voice is generated without recorded samples, using a glottal pulse source, five formant resonators and shaped noise for consonants. The synthesizer supports English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, Finnish and Swedish. Users can enter English words or type phonemes directly.
Roboto includes ten voice presets, along with a set of classic voices generated by a second formant engine. A talk-box mode uses a plucked-string sound processed through a simulated speaker driver and tube, shaped by the mouth settings.
Songs can be imported from MIDI, karaoke MIDI, UltraStar, LRC lyrics, SRT subtitles and text files. A “Musicalize” function assigns a pentatonic melody to lyric lines, with one note per syllable. The application also includes sample songs in multiple languages.
Playback controls include transpose, tempo, vibrato, jitter, breath, consonant level and length, formant settings, reverb and double tracking. MIDI controllers can adjust volume, vibrato, breath, formant shift and chorus. MIDI keys from C1 can trigger singing from the corresponding bar while held.
Roboto can export audio as WAV and, on macOS, Windows and iOS, AAC. Other export formats include MIDI, karaoke MIDI, UltraStar, LRC and SRT. Video export is available on macOS, Windows and iOS, producing MP4 files at 1280 × 720 resolution and 60 frames per second.
The plugin formats are VST3 and AU on macOS, VST3 on Windows and Linux, and AUv3 on iPhone and iPad. Host automation is available for voice parameters. Roboto requires macOS 12 or later, 64-bit Windows or Linux, or iOS 15 or later.

UVI Prisma is a virtual instrument library available as a complimentary license through Loot Audio, while promotional licenses remain available. The offer is limited to one license per customer.
The library contains 1,151 presets, 539 sound layers and 25,676 samples. Its sounds cover keyboards, drums, synthesizers, orchestral and fretted instruments, world instruments, sequences and effects. Users can combine and shape layers to create sounds.
The download is 14.45 GB and uses lossless FLAC encoding. Samples are provided at 44.1 kHz and were recorded at 88.2 kHz.
Prisma runs in UVI Workstation 4.0.2 or later and Falcon 3.1.1 or later. Supported formats include Audio Units, AAX, VST, VST3 and standalone operation.
The software supports macOS 10.14 Mojave through macOS 26 Tahoe, and 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. It requires 4 GB of RAM and 15 GB of disk space; a 7,200-rpm hard drive or solid-state drive is recommended.
Activation requires a free iLok account and an internet connection. A hardware iLok dongle is not required.
To claim the license, users must have an active, verified Loot Audio account. After installing UVI Portal and signing in to a UVI account, users can select “Redeem Serial” and enter the assigned key. The product can then be installed from the “My Library” section.
The license is for personal use. Resale and redistribution of promotional serial numbers are prohibited. The offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis while promotional licenses last.
Rapid Flow Offers True AB Referencing Plugin Free With Newsletter Subscription

Rapid Flow is offering its True AB Referencing plugin at no cost to people who sign up for its newsletter and confirm their email address. The offer marks the company’s four-year anniversary. Subscribers receive a unique code to apply at checkout for a full, perpetual license; the plugin’s regular price is $39.
True AB runs inside a digital audio workstation (DAW) and lets users switch between a mix and up to five reference tracks. Automatic loudness matching is designed to reduce the effect of volume differences during comparisons. Users can set loops to compare specific sections, such as a chorus or drop.
The plugin includes five playback models: phone, car stereo, club system, small studio speaker and mono speaker. It also offers stereo, mono and side-signal monitoring, plus independent left- and right-channel polarity inversion.
Other features include an expandable spectrum display with frequency-difference highlighting, LUFS, peak and RMS metering, MIDI mapping and keyboard shortcuts. Users can choose light or dark interface themes and view either an entire track or a selected loop.
True AB is available as a 64-bit VST3 plugin for Windows 10 version 1604 or later, and as AU and VST3 for macOS 10.14 or later on Intel and Apple Silicon. Rapid Flow lists Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio, Reaper and Pro Tools among the DAWs it tests for compatibility. Linux use is described as possible through Wine and Yabridge.
The plugin uses direct activation and does not require an iLok dongle or subscription. It does not include reference audio; users are responsible for having permission to use any tracks they load.
DAWJunkie releases free Convolute reverb for Mac and Windows

DAWJunkie has released Convolute, a free convolution reverb plug-in for Mac and Windows.
The plug-in uses impulse responses (IRs) to shape reverb and allows users to load their own IRs and adjust settings.
Convolute is available in VST, AU and AAX formats.
Apogee Soft Limit Returns as Free Plugin on Plugin Alliance

Apogee Electronics has joined Plugin Alliance. The announcement says its lineup on the platform includes Pultec and Clearmountain tools.
It does not provide details about Apogee Soft Limit or confirm that the plugin is available for free.
Blue Cat Audio Releases Free Amp v2 for Mac and Windows

Blue Cat Audio has released version 2.0 of Free Amp, a free guitar and bass amplifier simulation plug-in for macOS and Windows. The software is also available as a standalone application.
Version 2.0 rebuilds the amp models using the Destructor V2 modeling engine. It includes four models: Classic Clean, Classic Drive, Modern Drive and Classic Bass. Each model has built-in reverb, and users can load their own cabinet or reverb impulse responses.
The plug-in is designed for clean, crunch and high-gain guitar tones, as well as bass sounds. Controls include tone-shaping EQ and drive adjustment. The software is described as having no latency, and version 2.0 retains the original version 1 models for compatibility with existing projects.
The update adds expanded MIDI control. Parameters can be controlled using MIDI notes, pitch bend, NRPN, 14-bit CC, aftertouch, channel pressure and standard MIDI CC. A new “learn once” mode assigns controls and then turns itself off. The plug-in can also send Bank Select and Program Change messages when users change settings in its interface.
Version 2.0 also updates the interface graphics, adds Windows multitouch support and improves preset navigation. Preset folders now indicate the selected preset, and users can locate a preset in Finder or Windows Explorer. An option allows next and previous preset commands to stay within the current bank.
Free Amp is available in VST, VST3, Audio Unit and AAX formats, with 64-bit support on macOS. The Windows version supports VST and AAX hosts in 32-bit or 64-bit configurations. The standalone application requires a compatible audio interface.
The macOS version requires macOS 10.9 or later and an Intel or Apple Silicon processor. The Windows version requires Windows Vista or later and an SSE2-compatible processor. The software is freeware and does not require registration.
