8dio Releases Free Home Library for Soundpaint v2.5

8dio has just released their Free Home library for their recently updated Soundpaint Engine v.2.5. This library is completely free and there is no expiry date.

Soundpaint is a powerful and intuitive music creation platform that allows users to create and share their own music. The library includes a variety of sounds and instruments that can be used to create unique and original music. 

From Our Homes to Yours

We’ve been hard at work crafting something truly special with our incredible community. Drawing from the energy of Free ASMR, Free Angels, and Free Radicals, we’ve created a powerful collaboration with Free Home. We wanted to make an instrument made up of sounds from our own homes, so we asked our community to share their sounds – from household items to water drops, wind chimes to glockenspiels, and everything in between.

The response was amazing – we received hundreds of samples that inspired us and showed us the passion and creativity of our community. We edited, programmed, and designed these sounds into a beautiful collection of Ambience, Sound Design, Custom Instruments, Noises, Percussion, and more. We’ve gone above and beyond to stretch these samples beyond their limits.

We hope you’ll feel the joy and love that we’ve put into this library. It’s completely free and made with care – from our homes to yours.
