This free plugin, compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems, is particularly aimed at beginners seeking to understand the fundamentals of sound synthesis.
UltraBasic v2 offers a simple yet effective platform for learning sound synthesis. It features ten waveforms, including Saw, Sine, Square, and Triangle, which are known for their pure and clean sounds. In addition, there is a selection of six noise waveforms that can be very handy for testing your gear with simple signals.
The developers have also equipped this plugin with Distortion, Delay, Chorus, and Reverb effects, expanding the possibilities for sound creation and manipulation. It also includes a Multi-LFO and a Highpass/Lowpass filter, allowing users to control and shape the sound to their liking.
Another noteworthy feature of UltraBasic v2 is its amplitude range controls. These controls provide users with the ability to influence the loudness of the sounds produced.
