The Lounge Lizard EP-4 plug-in by Applied Acoustics Systems delivers authentic vintage electric piano sounds in a comprehensive package. The plug-in is notable for its real-time controls over hammer hardness, tine colour, and decay, damper noise, and pickup placement, providing an unparalleled level of customization.

Gigging musicians will find much to appreciate in Lounge Lizard’s small memory footprint, instant preset recalls, and stability. The extensive library of classic electric piano sounds, combined with a complete selection of effects, makes crafting the perfect tone for each song an easy task.

The plug-in achieves convincing electric piano tones with less than twenty synth parameters, revealing a realm of other tones when pushed further. Organs, bells, chimes, leads and more are all included in the preset library’s Experimental folder.

Lounge Lizard EP-4 also comes with a completely renewed factory library, featuring classic electric piano sounds and over 200 custom electric pianos. The new additions of a compressor and equalizer are perfect for adding punch and definition to your sound.

The new Character control provides five classic studio and stage signal path emulations, while the output limiter protects your ears and monitors during experimentation with the piano’s physical modelling parameters. The interface has been redesigned for more efficient usage and now divides Lounge Lizard EP-4 into three panels: Play, Edit, and FX. The plug-in also features a Bank and Program Manager for better organization of your sounds.

Lounge Lizard EP-4 is compatible with nearly all DAWs, including Ableton Live, Apple Logic Pro, Avid Pro Tools, Bitwig Studio, and more. It supports standard plug-in formats and offers unlimited undo/redo capability.
