FabFilter Volcano 3

The FabFilter Volcano 3 is a premium quality filter plugin, known for its vintage-sounding, gritty and creamy cut-off filter. First released in 2005, the latest version continues to deliver best-in-class creative filtering with new non-linear filter shapes and a completely redesigned interface for a delightful user experience.

Volcano 3 contains four analog-sounding filters with flexible routing, offering many filter shapes including non-linear bell and shelf filters. Its unique filter styles provide saturation and self-oscillation at high peak settings, reminiscent of the classic, vintage filters.

This plugin offers easy drag-and-drop modulation and a range of modulation sources including XLFOs, envelope generators, envelope followers, and MIDI sources. This makes Volcano 3 an incredibly flexible tool for creative audio manipulation.
