Krotos Audio Concept 2

Concept 2 by Krotos is a powerfully simple synth plugin that enables you to produce beautiful sounds without the complexity of operation found in many other synths. Designed for musicians, producers, composers, sound designers, and post-production professionals, Concept 2 allows you to create unique sounds quickly and easily. It offers a rich sound design palette that you can access without having to spend time learning how to use it.

Concept 2 comes with tons of great-sounding presets from top artists, including Roni Size, Richard Devine, and Kayla Painter. These presets offer you a diverse range of sounds – from cinematic lush pads, organic soundscapes, stirring strings to killer bass synths and screaming leads. However, presets are only the starting point. Concept 2 provides near limitless routing parameters that allow you to shape your sound as you desire.

You can use multiple sound sources or load your own samples into the granular engine and combine them with conventional oscillators. Modulation is a breeze with Concept 2 – it’s as easy as dragging and dropping the connections. The plugin also uses creative colour coding so you can see modulation sources at a glance.

When it comes to effects, Concept 2 is no slouch. It offers three slots and multiple effects, including convolution reverb, delay and compressors. This helps you add even more dimension to your sound design. You can filter stack and apply multiple filters to the sound with multiple modulation sources applied.
