About Tracktion Dawesome Abyss
The Dawesome Abyss by Tracktion is a visual synthesizer that brings a unique character to your music and sound design projects. It offers dark, vibrating drones, vivid cinematic pads, and rich evolving textures, providing an instant source of inspiration.
With its nuanced instruments, the Abyss synthesizer offers a simple method for creating complex sounds. Its modulation system is as powerful as it is easy to use, allowing you to tweak, mangle, and modulate your sound to achieve both sonic madness and sensible nuanced MPE instruments.
In Abyss, different sounds are represented by different colours, introducing a whole new way to design sounds. Its sound engine blends the rich, deep textures of natural sounds with the effective flexibility of classical synth. There’s a virtual analogue filter and also controls to shape tone colours in unique ways. Explore fresh sonic possibilities with this incredible synth.
The Abyss synthesizer features a panel with over 2000 tone-colours for you to surf through, enabling you to find your sound faster than ever. By placing tone colours on the gradient, you create a palette of timbral variation that forms the base of your patch.
Peter V, a musician and mathematician, created the Abyss synth. After nearly two years of research and numerous prototypes, Peter developed the innovative sound engine and user interface of Abyss, aspiring to create a new generation of tools that are inspiring, joyful to use, and uncover interesting new sonic possibilities.
