This one is a cute little VST synth by this company called Soonth. It’s called Blocks and it is a small modular synth in which you can drag blocks for generators, effects and modulations around to build sounds in a very Pacman-esque grid. It is cute, simple and free!!
Use is very simple:
- the audio flows down
- drag & drop to add modulations
- stretch effects across channels
Some more functions can be found in menus but basically, that’s it. It’s not super powerful but it is cute, fun to use, and great for beginners.
All you have to do is go to the link below for the website, click ‘download’ and enter your email and they send you a download link.
Blocks by Soonth is Available for free indefinitely.
